The deer season in New Brunswick starts October 1 for bow hunting and October 22 for regular hunting and lasts until November 17. Staying at the Lodge during this season means exciting days of hunting our magnificent White Tailed Deer, and relaxing evenings in front of a warm and hearty fire. Anyone that's been to Twin Pine Lodge can tell you that we have big trophy bucks and we're not shy to show them off. Last count of trophy horns on the lodge walls was 68!
The moose is another member of our Big Game Family. The season for moose hunting lasts only three days and is based on a lottery system. September is a beautiful month to be hunting in New Brunswick. Participating in a moose hunt in this province is truly an elite hunting experience.
The Miramichi is blessed with a healthy population of woodcock and grouse. So, with your deer license, between October 2 until December 2, if you and your guide are roaming through the woods, you can also keep your eyes peeled for partridge. (There's nothing like fresh partridge for supper!)
